Creative Director 2009 - 2014

When the opportunity to design tween girl's product came my way, I thought I wouldn’t know how to approach it. However, this turned out to be one of the most fun jobs ever! This brand stood for girl power, and the ability for young girls to define their own personal style. I loved the message behind the company, and that everything had to mismatch. The company started as just mismatched socks sold in pairs of three so the child could choose which two socks she wanted to wear. Soon after I started as Creative Director, we explored the concept of mismatching to a whole other level. We broadened the product offerings to include, bags, clothes, hair accessories, shoes, flip flops, furniture, bikes, skateboards, beauty, etc. It resulted in us landing a license to design mismatched Disney product and open stores in both US Walt Disney Parks. We also opened our own freestanding stores throughout the country.
